The data shows in some areas that experienced greater price adjustment there is less of a decline in sales or a slight increase as a result. This continued correction will restore the ratio of housing prices to income and help stabilize the market. read more
The 14% increase in new contract activity over last year is evidence that declining prices will bring buyers back into the market. We may see this trend continue as the market stabilizes and home buyers seek to take advantage of the tax credit that was recently expanded and extended. read more
